This scheme might therefore present additional challenges for people with some disabilities, however, we are committed to supporting all our students in the best way we can. You’ll be expected to write your first up as a mini-thesis or as a research paper and the second as a poster (which you then present to new first year MIBTP the following September!). Following this you carry out a Professional Internship for PhD students (PIP), a non-academic (3 month long) work experience placement. This can be undertaken.MIBTP recognises the need for skills training, cohort development and professional internships.
